Course Learning Outcome #4

“Develop and engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes”

For many of the assignments, we were told they should be posted on the discussion board on Blackboard. The purpose behind this is so that other students can have access to it and they can provide positive or constructive feedback for them. As seen in figure 1, some of the assignments we had included coming up with topics for our major assignments, in this image you see some of the feedback that was given based off a topic that was chosen for the engineering proposal. We took into consideration every comment our classmates had and used it to revise our assignments.

In addition, for the major assignments we worked in teams where we had to communicate with individuals outside of class to complete group work. Figure 2 displays a conversation I had with my team about when we were going to meet to get started on these assignments. The team would gather in an online chat room to discuss any important matters and work on our assignments. We built a strong communication amongst one another and respected each others’ opinions.
