When it came to writing most of the assignments, we couldn’t simply copy and paste the information we gathered. Instead I paraphrased/summarized it into my own words, but I still had to cite the source of the information that was acquired. Throughout the course I developed skills for properly citing sources in APA style. In figure 1, you see two paragraphs within the introduction of my technical description. Each paragraph provides background information on the product but from to different sources. I summarized each source and then at the end of each paragraph, I cited where it originated from.
