“Practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects”

Various assignments required research and for that research to be implicated throughout your writing. In order to find credible sources, we were taught to use the CCNY library database, along with additional online databases. When citing these sources, we had to ensure that it wasn’t considered plagiarism, which is why we learned to provide each resource used in the reference page at the end of the assignment. This reference page and the citing had to be implemented using APA style. Figure 1 demonstrates an example for when I developed my reference page in the proper APA style while writing the engineering proposal.
